The NAMI executive board would like to present a couple opportunities to you!

Panel Event
The first, is to be a committee member for an upcoming panel on Mental Health. We would like to have a committee of members that would be meeting with our Program Coordinator, Gabrielle Handwerk, to plan the event. The two panels held last year were on experiences with mental health challenges as well as experts in access to services under the Affordable care act. You will have a unique opportunity to work together to plan this even, if you are interested!

**Please email Gabrielle Handwerk, our Programming Coordinator, with your interest at ghandw1@students.towson.edu.

Living Classrooms
The other, which is something that you might have heard about, is our upcoming collaboration with Living Classrooms.

Living classrooms is a Foundation that provides enrichment and after school programs to students who live in Baltimore. The program has its students engaged in hands-on education and learning experiences, such as working with plants and animals on their Harbor East Campus.

Initially, we will be going to their campus two times: 1) To observe the students who we will be working with and 2) to work with children and host an educational session on bullying and working with children with physical and mental health conditions and disabilities. This is educative in nature, so if you are interested, please be prepared to help co-facilitate a discussion on such topics!

**Please email gbinns1@students.towson.edu if you are interested in participating in this opportunity to work with children!
